City Wide Social Survey – Series 12

The City Wide Social Survey Series 12 (CWSS 12) was conducted last October 25-29  and was administered by Social Research Training and Development Office (SRTDO).

The results of the CWSS 12 was presented on December 11, 2019 at the Training Room, 8th floor of the Community Center of the First Companions, Ateneo de Davao University.

The areas of interest covered: Socio-Demographic Profile, Household Facilities, Transportation, Health, Disaster Preparedness, Environment, Labor Force Profile and Status, Financial Situation, Self-Rated Poverty, Economic Trend Indicators, K to 12, Nationalism, Peace and Order, Governance, Social Issues, Happiness, within Davao City.


No part of this survey shall be used without acknowledging the source.

Call for Proposal SY 2019-2020

The University Research Council is now accepting research proposals for funding support for SY 2019-2020, THE ONLY CALL FOR THIS SCHOOL YEAR, except those submitted as an office project coming from the research offices, the Academic Units, ISFO, UCEAC, AVPO, office of the University President, Board of Trustees and the Jesuit Community in Davao.

All full-time faculty members, administrators and regular members of the non-teaching personnel are invited to submit a research proposal for review and approval of the University Research Council. Please refer to attached document for details.

Blue Vote 2019 Off-Campus Survey Results

The University Research Council (URC) conducted the Blue Vote 2019 Off-campus /City-wide Electoral Survey conducted last April 4-16, 2019. and the results presented in a public dissemination  on May 3, 2019 at the Finster Auditorium, 7th floor of Finster Hall, Ateneo de Davao University.

The areas of interest covered: Background and Methodology, Backdrop Description of Respondents, Electoral Preferences ,Opinion and Perception Items (Federal form of Government, Imposition of Martial Law in Mindanao, The Provision on term Limits in the 1987 Constitution , Anti Dynasty Provision in the 1987 Constitution, Proposal to Change the Age of Criminal Responsibility, Peace Talks with CPP-NPA-NDF, Digos-toTagum Railway Project, Tarrification Law , Population in Davao City, Election in Davao)

The City Wide Social Survey Series 10 (CWSS 10) was conducted last October 21-26, 2018 and was administered by Social Research Training and Development Office (SRTDO).

The results of the CWSS 10 was presented on December 7, 2018 at the Training Room, 8th floor of the Community Center of the First Companions, Ateneo de Davao University.

The areas of interest covered: disaster preparedness, economic trends, transportation, environment, financial situation, governance, happiness, health, household facilities, labor force status and profile, one belt one road initiative, peace and order, religion, poverty, socio-demographic characteristics, within Davao City
